THE TRAVELLERS’ TALES FESTIVAL
Celebrating the world’s finest travel writing and travel photography
We are delighted and proud to be involved with the Travellers’ Tales Festival, launched to much acclaim in Spring 2009. Entirely dedicated to travel writing and photography, the Travellers’ Tales festival features the best of both in the illustrious premises of The Royal Geographic Society in London.
Over the course of one amazing weekend the Travellers’ Tales Festival plays host to a global gathering of the world’s greatest travel writers and photographers, celebrating their craft and celebrating the world.
In 2010, key speakers Benedict Allen, Carol Beckwith & Angela Fisher, Fergal Keane, Frans Lanting, Don McCullin, Jan Morris, Dervla Murphy and Chris Stewart were joined by other great travellers – film-makers, foreign correspondents, novelists, travel editors and explorers – to share journeys, experiences, insights and inspirations.
A great time was had by all and we’re already looking forward to the third festival.
